Remote Control

In this document we will explain the different ways to connect to a remote station via RG Dashboard.

The points will be:

Once connected and after selecting an agent, you click on the button "Actions" then "Native remote access" or "Assist" (if you have subscribed to our solution).

1 RDP Connexion

In order to access the RDP connection it is necessary to choose a server or Windows station.
In the native remote access window you will have this:mceclip4.png

Here is the display with the "Assist" menu:

You will be able to click on the icon mceclip8.png and this Download the RDP file

Once the file is downloaded you will have to execute it with the remote desktop application.

For a connection to a machine under an AD Azure, it is necessary to add the 2 following lines at the beginning of the downloaded RDP file: 

enablecredsspsupport:i:0
authentication level:i:2

 

Warning : The specified port must be open on the machine that makes the request.

2 SSH Connexion

To access the SSH connection you must choose a linux server or workstation.
In the remote control window, you will see this:

You will be able to click on Connect and thus recover the information necessary for the connection via a client tool (ex: putty)

  • 1 : Connection address
  • 2 : Connection port

3 VNC Connexion

In order to access the VNC connection, it is first necessary to activate the screen sharing on the computer (Mac) which you want to connect to.
For this it is necessary to carry out the following steps:

  • Open the “System Preferences”, click on Sharing

  • Enable “screen sharing”

  • On the dashboard side you will have this window that will allow you to connect to the remote target:
