Context
Assist agents are agents that you can deploy and that are available as part of the use of the Assist product.
These agents allow remote control without using the "Agentless" version and therefore without generating a connection code.
Their purpose is to help you troubleshoot remote machines more easily by deploying a dedicated agent for Assist, with or without approval, and at no additional cost.
Prerequisites
To deploy an Assist agent, you must:
- Activate the Assist product
- Choose the number of channels you want to use
- Use the Assist agent deployment kit
Access
To access the Assist agents deployment kit, you must:
- Select the node on which you want to deploy Assist agents.
- In the left menu, navigate to the "Windows deployment kit" section.
- Click on "Add a kit" and choose the type of agent you want to deploy.
Once you have created your deployment kit for your Assist agents, you can install them on the machines you want to troubleshoot.
Note: You have a pool of 50 Assist agents for each Assist channel on your RG System account. If you need to deploy more agents, you can simply add an Assist channel from the "Simultaneous connections" page.
