What is UAC (User Account Control)?
UAC is a security feature integrated into Windows operating systems, including Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10.
It restricts the privileges of standard user accounts to reduce the risks associated with running malicious software or making unauthorized system modifications.
Principle of Remote Control with UAC:
During remote control, ASSIST starts and requests the highest level of privileges.
- If UAC triggers and is accepted, then ASSIST will have administrator rights (maximum privileges).
- If UAC triggers and is declined, then ASSIST will have default rights (potentially non-administrator, depending on the user).
